New Phase of Life; Living in Cergy

It’s kinda sad that I forgot to write you about what I’ve done during these months! Well, like what my lecturer said that some writers may get inspired by everything happened in their lives. Yeah, I truly agree.

I am in the phase where my life was changed since I decided to leave my country and live in my dream country. Moving from Indonesia and France is such a big decision for me. I have to quit my job, my family, my best friends and everything. At the day where I departed to France, I was thinking that I would stay just for some days, but then I realize that I live in a country where some people isn’t that easy to talk to strangers, where everything isn’t that simple as we thought, where some people are easily angry by a little thing that could be solved by patience. Until now, I still wonder why I am really brave living alone in a small city where nobody knows me.

Well, I came here for my study. I started my master study at 21 September 2017 in Université de Cergy-Pontoise. I choose this city because at first I concentrated myself on the study that I have to pass to become a diplomat, no matter which kind of university that I get. Anyway, becoming a diplomat is my biggest dream of my life since I was in high school. But the fact is that living in Cergy is truly something that changed my life a lot. Comparing to Paris, this is a small city where you can’t get a metro nearest to your home. This city has a kind of Velib and buses to commute in the city. But for going to Paris, it has RER A which commutes every 15-20 minutes (I guess) from Cergy Préfecture to Paris. To go to Paris it takes about 20-30 minutes, depends on the technical problems. I have experienced commuting from Paris to Cergy for about 1 hour because of what we call accident routier.

While my university is 850 meters away from my home, I don’t have an access of transport that could easily take me faster. I should walk for about 20-25 minutes or if I am in hurry I could pass 15 minutes of walk! It’s hectic for me because in terms of time, I have to arrange really well my alarm so that I wouldn’t be late to attend the classes. But, I am blessed living here, even though it takes times to go to university, I still get times doing sport and looking the leaves falling everyday cause of that routine. Hahaha.

Well, this is already 22.11, it’s not that late but I have to review the lessons of today and for tomorrow!

What To Do When Being University Student

Being a university student at the first time scared me a lot. I always thought that university is the highest level of education so that I had to take more time and be serious to our study. Books, papers, presentations and researchs wait us to be done immediately in class and even in our crib while our body need some relaxation. It sounds creepy, but that's a real time story that every students nowadays should pass!

To relax yourself from the struggles you've to face, here are the #WhatToDoWhen being university student:

1. Active in Student Organization

When I was struggling myself on the new things that I never studied before in high school, I was thinking that being involved in a student organization was more exciting than being trapped-focusing on our study. I know it might take times and energy for your busy yet exhausting life of university student, but I felt great when I was actively member of a student organization, like seriously! All we have to do is to arrange and manage our time for our campus life and for our organization. We have to think that our spare time is not wasted by doing nothing but by energizing positive energy to everyone involved in that organization. It's really necessairy to think like that, since that some of us might feel bored sometime. 

2. Exchange Program

I shouldn't add this one, because I didn't make it when I was student, lol! But, hey I got so much energy from my friends who have passed months, years for some exchange! There are plenty of exchange program that you can take part even though you're not a foreign language student! Ask to your alumnae or even do it by yourself by searching those offers in the Holy Internet, You should take part on this program since there weren't any bad side if we make it or didn't make it. If you make it, then congratulations, you're one step forward from your friends. If you don't make it. don't be sad, the experiences and the networks you gained during the selection were also precious and endless. You can even enlarge it, by the way.

3. Representing University

Representing some universities accross Indonesia

It sounds amazing when you're elected to become a representative of your university. You might then be a face of university to public. You're demanded to do some competition. making preparation, etc. But those things could be your strength to approaching or even realizing your dreams, because it attires us to have more connections or networks in the future. We'll have more friendships and relation that we should keep up. 

4. Being Vocal

Why should I represent my university while I'm just sitting down with my alma? I might then suggest you to walk down the street and being vocal on the issue you're interested in. This is not just about how we can develop ourself by always rooting on our interest but also about society in the future. Can you imagine how big is your influence or impact to the society while you're vocal on humanity, tolerance, and even souvereignity of everyone? This could boost you to be critic!

5. Internship or Part-time

Internship or Part-time are two things which needs even more energy and well time arrangement. Internship might ask you to postpone your study or even disturbing your presence in class. And part-time needs a person well equiped by some multivitamin or so. Those activities are the hardest part of your choices to choose because it might about experience or money that you might consider as a chance, but think more about the transportation, the times you've to prepare to and from your university to the office or place you're in. I suggest you to take a summer holiday internship, so you might have some activities which are paid while you're in holiday.

Kisah Inspiratif

Good night everybody!

Selamat malam semuanya!

Malam ini, saya akan bercerita tentang betapa berartinya "kisah inspiratif" bagi saya. 

Kisah inspiratif bagi saya merupakan sebuah ketukan untuk bangkit dan bergerak. Disebut ketukan karena bagi saya ketukan itu bisa berarti sebuah awalan maupun sebuah peringatan. Maka dari itu, kisah inspiratif selalu membawa saya kepada sebuah awalan baru ataupun sebuah perbaikan diri.

Banyak kisah-kisah inspiratif yang telah saya telan bulat-bulat, yang kemudian saya jadikan sebagai referensi dalam melakukan segala hal, baik itu referensi yang buruk maupun referensi yang baik bagi hidup saya. Kisah-kisah tersebut saya dapat dari berbagai suasana dan keadaan yang saya alami baik itu secara kebetulan maupun tidak. Sehingga dalam keadaan sadar atau tidak, kisah tersebut dapat saya ingat dengan baik.  

Kisah inspiratif tentunya membawa kehidupan saya menjadi lebih bermakna. Karena dengan kisah inspiratif, hal-hal positif maupun negatif dapat saya jadikan pelajaran dalam menjalani kehidupan saya di masa lalu, sekarang maupun di masa yang akan datang. Sehingga saya terdorong untuk menjadi pribadi yang lebih baik lagi. 

Terima kasih kepada teman-teman dan juga kerabat-kerabat baru yang telah memberikan saya banyak inspirasi. Semua kisah dan pengalaman yang kalian gambarkan pada saya sungguh sangat memberikan dampak bagi kehidupan saya. Tetap menjadi inspirasi bagi khalayak banyak, teman-teman!

 

Indonesie, le Pays en fumée!

 

Indonesie, le Pays en Fumée - sc: Center for Great Apes

Le titre est un peu exagère, mais dis-moi ce qui est bien pour montrer le mécontentement des habitants de l'Indonésie qui sont en danger à cause de l'incendie forestière? 

L'incendie forestier dans toute l'Indonésie (la plus grave c'est dans l'île de Sumatera, Bornéo, et Papouasie) est déjà devenu une issue très particulière chez les Indonésiens. Depuis plus de 10 ans à peu près, il est regrettable que cette catastrophe n'ait pas de solution ni précise, ni efficace de gouvernement. Quelques semaines dernières, j'ai vu des articles et des vidéos concernant ce cauchemar. Il y avait des habitants qui étaient encore faire ses activités, des écoliers qui souriraient en jouant dans la fumée, ou même des orang outans qui devaient se déplacer de son habitat préférable à cause de sa maison qui devenait noir, sombre, et réchauffée. Et là, il parait que le gouvernement ne sache rien de cette destruction massive qui va faire disparaitre lentement tous ce qu’il y a dans la Terre. Il ne sait pas à qui il doit réclamer ou agir pour la responsabilité de la maladie et de la pollution aérienne qui empêchent les activités de ses habitants. Le résultat, le gouvernement, représenté par la police, arrête seulement "les joueurs sur terrains", tandis que les acteurs principaux sont les entreprises qui bénéficient de cette action là. Le gouverneur de Riau a été coupable pour 6 ans de prison à cause de son irresponsabilité de garder le foret conservée. Si on pense que cela est une fin suffisante et satisfaisante, n’espérez jamais que l’idée met fin à cette catastrophe ! Les entreprises, elles, profitent toute source de la forêt ! Le gouverneur ou bien les travailleurs sur terrains n’ont gagné que quelques pourcent de leurs profits ! Mais l’effet de cette activité effrayante ? C’est le cauchemar chez les habitants ! Ils souffrent de la fumée, et ont de la maladie respiratoire. Ce qui est pire, c’est que le gouvernement central qui devrait « payer » pour la sécurité de la santé de ses habitants ! Alors, à quoi bon si on laisse faire ce genre d'entreprise?

Ensemble Contre La Déforestation*

J’ai vu le jour où tout se déroule lentement, rapidement.

La Terre sous tous les êtres se mouvait dans l’amalgame. Elle s’est tue dans le bruit des fumées, alors qu’elle devait voler autour du soleil.

Des fumées attrapaient des écoliers. Ainsi qu’ils ne pouvaient pas célébrer la Kermesse.

Le grigri que l’on croyait comme un truc portant bonheur, n’a pas pu empêcher le feu de brûler détruisant ce qu’il y avait sur la Terre.

Des Inuits se sont cachés dans la zénitude en espérant que la Terre glissante ne se déroberait pas, car ils savaient que l’iceberg serait fondu, devenu un océan froid dans l’instant.

Je verrai l’innovation rend l’avenir incertain.

Tout s’inventera rapidement.

D’une époque où la lecture est prééminente, à une époque où le wiki deviendra dominant.

D’un moment où l’on dit « bravo » pour la sérendipité, à un moment où l’on sera assez souvent de dire « non » pour l’environnement.

D’une perspective où l’on pense que la maison en bois est assez kitsch, à une perspective où l’on pense que le béton garanti la robustesse de vie.

On sacrifie l’environnement sur l’autel de la modernité…

de la destruction massive de la Terre

 du changement climatique

de l’exploitation forestière

de l’effet de serre

 Le reboisement et l’esprit de green-life sont des choses primordiales que l’on doit planter dans l’âme de toute personne, de toute nationalité.

Le peuple doit militer et cibler son effort pour lutter contre la déforestation,

pour forcer les pouvoirs du monde à signer…

« non à l’émission CO2,

non à la déforestation »

car le meilleur monde est à ((nous))

hier, maintenant, toujours…
